General Information

The 2021 ASBMB North Texas Regional Conference for Undergraduate Research will be held at The University of Texas at Dallas on Friday, October 8th. The conference will take place from 1:30 PM to 7 PM in the Bioengineering and Science Building (BSB). Refreshments and dinner will be provided, with vegetarian options available. The event is free.

All undergraduate researchers interested in participating are required to submit a one-page, double-spaced abstract summarizing their work by midnight on Friday, October 1st. They will be contacted by Saturday, October 2nd if their work is accepted. Please submit your abstract here. Once you have submitted your document, you do not need to RSVP.

LATE ABSTRACTS MAY BE SUBMITTED THROUGH October 5th! However, after we reach capacity there is no guaranteeing that your application will reach the review committee. You will hear back if your work is accepted as soon as possible.

If accepted, each undergraduate researcher should prepare a poster detailing their projects. The poster should be easy to follow and no larger than 36" by 48".

​

The conference capacity is limited to 40 presenters. Our attendance may be filled by guests, such as family members and friends. Please RSVP guests here. Undergraduates who will be presenting their research do not need to RSVP after submitting their abstracts.
